Story 4

One-sentence pinch
An lost young rhinoceros was on the way finding his family ,On the journeys he met friends that he have never see before and dangerous encounter  that had transform him to an brave and mature rhinoceros.

STORY

There was this story somewhere in the semi-arid plains and savannah grasslands southern areas of the African continent, there is this a family of rhinoceros .And among this family, there is this young rhinoceros called JOJO .The family always stay close together so that they won’t got separated .Then there were this day ,a big lion leap out of nowhere trying to hunt them down, in the moment of chaos ,JOJO got separated with the family. And now, he needed to find them.

As sun was still shining brightly ,the young rhinoceros had searching for his family for some time until, he saw an strange looking creature ,and was amazed by the length of its neck and irregular patches of color on a light background on the body. So the young ones decided to get its help and hopefully it doesn’t not eat him. So JOJO slowly walk with caution. The creature was tall enough not to even notice JOJO was standing right beside him, as JOJO has to shout as loud as he can “Excuse me Sir!!!’’.The creature swings his neck and lower down his head, only then he could saw him.

He said “Oh, hi little young ones, my apologized that I didn’t notice you, what can I do for you?”.

JOJO  took a deep breath and reply “Please don’t eat me Sir, I lost contact with my family and I need your help”.

He bust out with laughter that even he fall to his feet and just couldn’t stop himself  and answered “I  don’t eat meat my friend, my only food is what the tree can provide me, Well...ok I did saw a group of  your kind  seem in an hurry traveled toward that  direction.

And JOJO ask him “sir can I know why is your neck so long”

The creature answered “we are called giraffe, and we can use ours neck to look far and reach the tall tree to find our food”.

Then the giraffe, swing his neck to one of the tree and grip a few apple and give it to JOJO and said “I can see you have travel far, take some of this apples along so that you can continue your searching  and Thanks you’re for your entertainment, good lucky”.

“Thank you, Mr. Giraffe”. JOJO said, and continue his searching.

Then JOJO come upon an two-way junctions now he got no idea which path to take. So he look around and decided to approach another strange huge looking creature with a long nose standing in the river .

“Hi Sir; I lost contact with my group, did you saw them taking which path?”JOJO said

The creature answered with his nose swinging right and left“. Ah, I see ,I do saw  a group of rhinoceros rushing passed  me, I can tell you which path  only if you could get me some foods “.

So JOJO took out a few apple and give to him “Here some apple for you sir”.

The creature quickly stretch his nose and grip the apples, and put it into his month and started eating.

There JOJO ask out of curiosity “May I know why do you have such a long nose”.

The creatures answered while trying to finish all the apples in his month”. Well, I am called  elephant , my nose works just like hand ,it’s did everything’s for me eat , drink , wash. However your family took the path on the right”.

The elephant  plunk out a big leaf and pour in some water on it and fold it into a bag so that the water wont drain out using his long nose and give it to JOJO and said “thanks you for your food, here some water that might help you through  the hot weather”.

JOJO  took the bag and answered “thank you, Mr. elephant”. And continue his journey.

On his way of his travel, he discover there were this creature with feather all over the body lying on the ground dying shouted softly with an weak voice “water....I need water..”.

So JOJO quickly took out his bag of water and slowly feed him into his sharp hard month.

Then the creature push himself up and said “Thank you young ones, I own you one”

JOJO ask “you only have two legs, you can’t travel fast this way, and it must be tiring for you”.

The creature laughs at his innocent and lifts up his wings and said “I am a Crow, I don’t walk, I fly in the sky with these wings.

JOJO was amaze by how he can fly but then he ask “When you were flying, did you happen to see any group of my kind?”

The creature trying to recalled and answered “Yes, I saw them and I knew where they were , well you saved my life I can do you a favor by fly there while you follow up the direction I be flying”.

So the crow help JOJO made his way, until he encounter a huge group of creature with beautiful distinctive black and white stripes that’s stripes come in different patterns unique to each individual, that’s stop JOJO  and ask one them “What are you guy, with this beauty looks of stripes”.

The creature answered in an arrogant manner “we are called zebra, we have the strip that made us beautiful and grand, and unlike you with only grey all over the body and it is ugly”.

JOJO was started to doubt himself for being common, that everyone seem to have their own special abilities or talent.

Suddenly an big lion leap up from nowhere and got hold of one of the zebra, everyone of them started to escaped .But JOJO wanted to help the zebra but he do not know what to do until the crow shout at him “Use your horn!!Use your horn!!Just run toward the lion!!”

And so JOJO use all his strength rushing toward it’s and knock the lion on the ground, this is the first time the lion had encounter prey fighting back, and he was scared and run away.

JOJO finally realize he is talented and had abilities just like anyone of them, and he is so glad. The zebras apologized for mocking at him and they are so amazed by the courage and horn that JOJO had .The next moment JOJO family found him due to the distinctive pattern the zebra had ,attracted them to found him. They were back as a group again, with an grown strong rhinoceros that can protect them.

3 Act Practices

1 Sentence Summary.

Jurassic fart-The T-REX were playing fart with his son, then an pig join in the fart game and poison everyone except himself.

Fantasia Flamingos-An flamingos were so obsessed with yoyo and refused to join in the group of flamingos, and the yoyo were throwing away by the group but the rebel flamingos appeared to have more yoyo.

Knick Original version-An snow man trying to get out of the dome, after he saw a pretty girl and was asking him to join in the fun but in the end no matter how much he try he will always stuck in the dome.

For the Bird-An outcast pigeon wanted to join the group of pigeon but were being tease by the group of how he looks ,in the end the outcast pigeon managed make an payback.

Bon Jovi - It;s My life-A guy saw his girlfriend on the television having an concert, and he rush there with a lot of obstacles and in end got to reach there safely and in time.

Story 3

"A man survived an plane clash and landed on an unknown island,on the island he found himself accompany with an group of talking duckling,whose refused to help him home."

Ben was well-known in the company for being a cocky person; he developed a superior attitude that made him a terrible boss to his subordinate. For those who work under him, describe him as a cold-blooded, emotionally-abusive boss. He will made everyone work as late as him, even forces them to work on Sunday knowing that those who has family. When this day’s news came spreading throughout the office in everyone mail box there tag the phase "BEN IS GOING FOR AN OVERSEA TRIP FOR MONTHS, IT’S BE A PERIOD OF RELFIE FOR EVERYONE!!".

Everyone wish came true, the plane Ben was taken, was having difficulty and was unable to sustains in the air, was crash on to an unknown island. All the passengers were able to jump off the plane and escape with all the plane crew, and Ben was the only one left in the plane due to his superior attitude, that he refused to listen to the order of having the safety gear on and now caused him more trouble. And that’s not the worst, He wake up on the breach of the island and found out a group of duck speaking English.

So Ben told the duck that he needed to get back to where he came from, and ask whether they could help him. The duck disagree with him. Ben was angry and said’ Well, You stupid animals, you know I could pluck up all your feathers and cook you up for dinner.”As soon as Ben finish speaks, all of the duck started attacking Ben with their claw on their feet.”No stop, Ouch, Stop please!. “shouted Ben .all the duck stop and said” Well, human you’re living here from now on, we will only help if you behave and follow ours order!!”So after days and days, Ben had to work at building shelter made of trees breaches ,hunting food, bath them ,made fire for them and all sort of things. Sometime Ben even has to stay overnight to look after them. Hoping the duck will help him back some days.

Two months had past, Ben has get used the life he have now, he felt he is happier than before although he been following order from the ducks. Then there were this days , the Ben and the group of ducks were crossing the river, all of an sudden there this huge crocodile got out of the river and got hold with one of the duck. They have been terrified by the attacked and all they could do nothing. without a word Ben quickly get hold one of the huge rock and start throw toward the crocodile. The rock hit the crocodile eye that’s made him blind temporally and all of them managed to escape. All this while Ben worked grimly, his face a mask of determination. He would not allow the crocodile to kill any of his what he now called friend. Caring had never seemed as precious as it did then. The ducks was so glad  that Ben have been an changed person, a more better person when he first came here. So the ducks decided that it is time for Ben to go back where he came from.

There duck all float onto the sea water and they stay as close to each other. So that Ben could lie on them and they carry Ben all the way from the island back to the city. Finally Ben saw his hometown and he screamed hysterically to it. When Ben arrived the town he look at it and took a deep breath, when he about to turn himself around and thanks the ducks. The ducks had vanish .He had finally becoming a better person.

Exercise 2,Story 2

1-Sentence Pitch

“Computer and money are important ,but kinship are essential.” 

Story

Kim who was a boy ,that obsessed with computer game so much that he could forgetting his meal, even what day is today. For his daily routine was to wake up and start playing until he got tired at home. He never gets out; even to breathe the outside air. For his every meal, were taken care by his mother.

Kim has friends, but all were just online friend that you don’t even know how they look like. He is very lazy, he don’t even get up to get himself a glasses of water as his mother is the one that get everything prepare for him.

 There is this day, Kim wake up doing his own usual game playing as he is trained his character for an important competition. All of an sudden the screen of the computer went black out, also the fan that blowing him stopped ,Kim face turned red and was very angry. So he shouted his mother “MUM!!!MUM!!!”.After shouting and shouting for twenty minute, that he could not take it no more, he get up of his seat. Immediately after he stood up, he found out that he could not carry his own weight so he have to reach out for support and he slowly made his way out his room.

Just Then he reach the living room with a shock, realized that his living room have changed so much since his last seen, as he look across the room ,and found a trace of water leaking from the kitchen so he thought his mother must be inside and notice something is wrong. He use all the energy he have to quickly made his way in, then he saw his mother laying on the floor with a pot of water. His mother must had slip and fell while holding the pot when the water from the pot splash onto the electric socket and caused the black out. As anxious as he can be ,he get his house phone tried to call the ambulance but the phone got no power due to the blackout .The only thing he could do is to carry his mother out, so he did, so just when he made his way out to the lift l, his neighbors  just came back from work helping him to call for ambulance.

While waiting  outside  the operation room, all he hope now is hoping his mother will be fine, after a while the doctor came out and shook his head, tapping on Kim shoulder .Kim started to shed tears. He rushes in beside his mother bed and hug her while realized that his mother hair had gotten so gray. As he feel guilty that he miss a lot of time with her while waste a lot of time doing something that’s doesn’t exist in the real world. His mother have work so hard and do so much to brought him up yet all he do is do nothing to repay her ,the more he think the more he cry .

Suddenly there came a voice “KIM!!KIM” the voice is so familiar, Kim open up his eyes ,and saw his mother was waking him up, as relief as he can get he hug his mother and asked for forgiveness that he will be a changed person from now on. The mother stays silent with a smile on the face.

Story

There was this tried day, from school I was on my way to the book store to see there is any new magazine coming in as I always did this to update myself to follow the fast pace for the modern life.

 The store were located at level three of the shopping centre, and I been walking some distance from the school so I was tired and perspire heavily but that doesn’t stop me from doing what I want .finally I reach the shopping mall was shock because it is week day and the mall was particularly crowded and that making me feel kind of dizzy,so I continue my way to take the escalator and I was wandered aimlessly while waiting for the escalator to help me up to the next level of the complex.

Just when I was about to take the next escalator to the next level, i heard a voice calling for help the next thing I know, there this middle age man with an wheel chair was looking at me .The voice was coming from this guy although I knew he is trying to get help form me and to be honest I was unwilling due the long journey I had however I still walk toward him and ask "how can I help you dude".

"Can you hold this pack of food because I need to go to the restroom for a while". Without any thought "of course" I said. Holding the pack of meal which is still hot, suddenly I was awake and I look at me watch had been waiting here for half an hour "What am I doing here" I ask myself. Just when I was furious and about to place the food on the floor and continue my journey.”Sorry" That guy shouted .I was kind of a soft-hearted person so the word "sorry" was enough to cover up the whole incident. Just when I was about to leave him, next moment I know "Hey young man, sorry again, could you help me to open up my lunch box”. I help him unpack the box, taking up everything for him and I thought to myself "Ok, my job is done, it is time to go" as I was about to make my move, third call from this guy. “Please help me to unpack the pack of chill for me". I could just walk away but after there was this phase came across my mind "HE IS  Handicapping AFTER ALL and Yes he need more help than a normal Person “So I did what he needed me to and I turn toward the escalator wanted to took it. The next moment I know I heard his need of help again , Surprisingly I do not feel angry but I feel curious because i was wondered what else he will still want me to do as I already did everything for him. He holding the spoon up and speak “feed me “thinking that i am his maid."This is ridiculer" I thought to myself so I ignore him and took the escalator up. I spend almost to an hour helping this guy and he aspect me to help him everything, sometime being helpful is good but being over helpful is a torture to yourself and the best thing is I do not get the words "THANK YOU".

Story from start to end ,Actually, a story line is when the events are placed in a certain order and time in the story... for example...

or it can be more more general... all you have to do is put the major... "happenings" in the order you think would be best or the way youd want them to be! :D

-SCENE BREAKDOWN:

- BEATS
 :
It is a term used to describe the timing and movement of a film or play. They can be used as pacing elements for measuring or create the pace that moves the progress of the story forward.

- PLOTS

 / SUB PLOTS:
Mini storyline inside a story for character to resolve the problem,or plot that tell a story and sub plots is the small  plots that need to be done to finish the main plot.

- TURNING 
POINTS
 :
The turning point of a story is when it kind of goes downhill, turning, going differently. Usually drama or action.a decision for character to made.It is also the part when you notice everything changes.

- SCRIPT:
Is a written work that is made especially for a film or television program. Screenplays can be original works or adaptations from existing pieces of writing. Here, the movement, actions, expression, and dialogues of the characters are also narrated. A play for television is known as a teleplay.

- HOOK/teaser:
Also sometimes referred to as a "Teaser". It is a short compilation of scenes (for films) or quotes (for books) that is meant to capture the interest of the audience so they will become interested to know more.

- MOTIVE :
The reasons for the characters to do what they intend to do in the story.

- CONFLICT: 
Happens when characters are against each other, like teams in a game or two groups fighting on the playground.

- DRAMATIC SEQUENCE/CHAIN REACTION:
Also known as a "Chain Reaction". One action leads to another, which all follow in a sequence. A cause-and-effect.


- RESOLUTION:
A closure to the story. The plot is likely to be solved in this part, and the climax of the story is brought to an end.

- OUTCOME:

The result or consequence that comes at the end of a resolution.

-CLIMAX:
When  conflict of the plot is resolved,it is often the most exciting part of the story,climax in the mountain peak.It is sometimes referred to as "turning point'' of the story,when the plot changes for the better or for worse for the hero.

CLASS EXERCISE

Mr. Slow is the kind of neat person that dress neatly with his clothed tuck in and pant pull up high enough to cover up his stomach, nice comb side parting hair and wear a glasses with big lens, he is a law by law kind of person that follow the boring traditional kind of life cycle like work, sleep, watch TV … etc. He is in an open relationship to get to his next stage of his planning.

John whatever is his name; with a messy long hair that he didn’t even bother to wash he got very sleepy eyes that seem he had not sleep for decade. He has been live in his own world that hate people get in his way, if you got an argument with him, don’t bother to quarrel just let him be because he will  be talking nonsense

The day they met each other, Mr. slow and John whatever were in hawker centre looking for an empty seat to have their lunch as they both reach the empty seat at the same time then they see a tissue paper on the empty chair. As for Mr. slow telling john whatever that the typical practice for tissue on the chair meaning it is been occupant, the moment slow finish his words john whatever took the tissue wipe his sweat and sit on the chair and said “The tissue is for welcoming people that come here to have their lunch’ So Mr. slow said ‘you are doing the wrong thing here,you better leave this seat now or I going to call the police now ‘John whatever laugh as he stand up and start an argument with Mr. slow at this point of time the owner of the tissue came back with the tray of food seat down on the seat and have his meal. The two of them look at the owner and both of them have fight out of nothing.

What a Story is???

A story is something we use to share idea,learned from each other life and to create something that can't possible happen in real life.It an important tools for everyone ,for example children learn the bad habit of laziness throughout the story of three little pigs and for us adult we learn the way of success by reading the story of  successful person.
